BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Integration - Overview

Installation / Setup Instruction:

Following are the step by step instructions to setup BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Integration add-on:

Install and activate the BadgeOS plugin.
Install and activate the Restrict Content Pro plugin.
Install and activate the BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Integration add-on.
The new “BadgeOS RCP Integration” menu will be added under BadgeOS.

BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Settings

License Configuration

The license key can be configured from BadgeOS > BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Settings > License Configuration. License keys can be found at your email address when you purchased the addon.

Place your license key in the field and click on the Activate button.

How to Create Achievement Types

BadgeOS lets you define unlimited achievements to award to your users' named achievement types.

You can configure as many achievement types as you like: Badges, Quests, etc., and in each achievement type, you can set unlimited achievements to award your users for interacting with your site.

Following are the steps to add a new achievement type:

Navigate to BadgeOS > Achievement types.
Click Add New.
Add Title.

Please note that the title supports only 20 characters.

Add Plural Name under the Achievement Type Data section.
Check the option Show in Menu? Under the Achievement Type Data section.

Publish the post.

BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Integration Triggers to Award Achievements:

Subscribe Any Membership:

This will be triggered when a user will subscribe to any membership.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement to the user on subscribing to any new membership:

From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
Enter the badge/achievement title and description.
Select Completing Steps for the option Earned By under the Achievement Data section.
Add a new step in the required steps section by clicking Add New Step.
Select Restrict Content Pro Activity for Required field.
Select Subscribe Any Membership from the next drop-down. (To select any specific membership for this badge please select the desired one from the very next drown-down. So this badge will only be awarded if the user subscribes the selected membership)
Enter the number of times.
Click Save All Steps.

Set up the rest of the settings as per need.
Publish.

Subscribe Any Free Membership:

This will be triggered when a user will subscribe to any free membership.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement to the user on subscribing to the free membership:

From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
Enter the badge/achievement title and description.

Subscribe Any Membership:

This will be triggered when a user will subscribe to any membership.

From the Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Point Types and click Add New.
Enter the point type’s title.
Navigate to the Points Deducts section.
Add a new step by clicking Add New Step.
Select Restrict Content Pro Activity for Required field.
Select Subscribe Any Membership from the next drop-down. (To select any specific membership for this point type please select the desired one from the very next drown-down. So the points of this point type will only be deducted if the user subscribes the selected membership)
Enter the number of points.
Enter the number of times.
Click Save All Steps.

How to Create Rank Type:

BadgeOS lets you define unlimited ranks that your users can reach named rank types.

You can configure as many rank types as you like: Grade, Level, etc., and in each rank type, you can set unlimited ranks that your users can reach for interacting with your site.

Follow these steps to add a new rank type:

Select Rank types from the BadgeOS menu and click Add New.
Add title and plural names for this achievement.
Check Show in the Menu option.

Publish the post.

BadgeOS Restrict Content Pro Integration Triggers to Award Rank:

Subscribe Any Membership:

This will be triggered when a user will subscribe to any membership.
