BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration Overview

Installation / Setup Instruction:

Following are the step by step instructions to set up the BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration add-on:

• Install and activate the BadgeOS plugin.
• Install and activate the AffiliateWP plugin.
• Install and activate the BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration add-on by uploading the plugin zip file.
• The new “AffiliateWP Activity” option will be added in the required steps in any achievement types, ranks and point types.

• This option will further provide you with the 6 AffiliateWP triggers, namely:

1. Affiliate Sign Up
2. Earn A Referral
3. Referral Paid
4. Referral Rejected
5. Referral Visit
6. New User Sign-Up through an Affiliate

How to Create Achievement Types

BadgeOS lets you define unlimited achievements to award to your users’ named achievement types.

You can configure as many achievement types as you like: Badges, Quests, etc., and in each achievement type, you can set unlimited achievements to award your users for interacting with your site.

Following are the steps to add a new achievement type:

• Navigate to BadgeOS > Achievement types.
• Click Add New.
• Add Title.

Please note that the title supports only 20 characters.

•  Add Plural Name under the Achievement Type Data section.
• Check the option Show in Menu? Under the Achievement Type Data section.

• Publish the post.

BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration Triggers to Award Achievements:

Affiliate Sign-up:

This will be triggered when an affiliate will sign-up on the referral link.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement to the user on an affiliate sign up:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
• Enter the badge/achievement title and description.
• Select Completing Steps for the option Earned By under the Achievement Data section.
• Add a new step in the required steps section by clicking Add New Step.
• Select AffiliateWP Activity for Required field.
• Select Affiliate Sign-up from the next drop-down.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps.

• Set up the rest of the settings as per need.
• Publish.

Earn a referral:

This will be triggered when an affiliate earns a referral.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement to an affiliate when hey earn a referral:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
• Enter the badge/achievement title and description.
• Select Completing Steps for the option Earned By under the Achievement Data section.
• Add a new step in the required steps section by clicking Add New Step.
• Select AffiliateWP Activity for Required field.
• Select Earn a referral from the next drop-down.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps.

• Set up the rest of the settings as per need.
• Publish.

Referral Paid:

This will be triggered when an affiliate’s Referral is paid.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award Badge/Achievement to an affiliate when his/her Referral is paid:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.

Referral Rejected:

This will be triggered when an affiliate’s Referral is rejected.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award Badge/Achievement on the rejection of any referral:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
• Enter the badge/achievement title and description.
• Select Completing Steps for the option Earned By under the Achievement Data section.
• Add a new step in the required steps section by clicking Add New Step.
• Select AffiliateWP Activity for Required field.
• Select Referral Rejected from the next drop-down.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps.

• Set up the rest of the settings as per need.
• Publish.

Referral Visit:

This will be triggered when any visitor visits the Referral’s URL.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement when someone visits the Referral’s URL:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.
• Enter the badge/achievement title and description.
• Select Completing Steps for the option Earned By under the Achievement Data section.
• Add a new step in the required steps section by clicking Add New Step.
• Select AffiliateWP Activity for Required field.
• Select Referral Visit from the next drop-down.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps

• Set up the rest of the settings as per need.
• Publish.

New User Sign-up through an Affiliate:

This will be triggered when a new user signs up through an affiliate.

Steps:

Following are the steps to award badge/achievement when a new user signs up through an affiliate:

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Desired Achievement Type (i.e. Badges) and click Add New.

BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration Triggers to Award Point Types:

Affiliate Sign Up:

This will be triggered when a new user signs up through an affiliate.

• From Admin Panel, navigate to BadgeOS > Point Types and click Add New.
• Enter the point type’s title.
• Navigate to the Points Award section.
• Add a new step by clicking Add New Step.

• Select New User Sign-up through an Affiliate from the next drop-down.
• Enter the number of points.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps.

Affiliate Sign Up:

This will be triggered when an affiliate signs up on the referral link.

• Navigate to the Points Deducts section.
• Add a new step by clicking Add New Step.

• Enter the number of points.
• Enter the number of times.
• Click Save All Steps.

How to Create Rank Type:

BadgeOS lets you define unlimited ranks that your users can reach named rank types.

You can configure as many rank types as you like: Grade, Level, etc., and in each rank type, you can set unlimited ranks that your users can reach for interacting with your site.

Follow these steps to add a new rank type:

• Select Rank types from the BadgeOS menu and click Add New.
• Add title and plural names for this achievement.
• Check Show in the Menu option.

• Publish the post.

BadgeOS AffiliateWP Integration Triggers to Award Rank:
